TC4Life - 2021 Highlights
2021 has been a tremendous year, so far. In addition to providing community education, church engagement, sidewalk training and sidewalk advocacy and prayer in GSO and WS on an almost daily basis, reaching women in crisis and saving lives in our community... we have hosted or presented the following events this year:
Jan 7th: Adoption Education
Our team hosted an educational zoom call with area Pregnancy Resource Centers. The guests represented three local adoption ministries. The goal was to provide an educational opportunity to PRC staff to learn more about adoption and connect with these ministries.
Jan 16th: Walk for Life in Raleigh
The TC4Life team and volunteers assisted NC Right to Life with the annual Walk for Life in Raleigh. We greeted guests, provided technical assistance and spoke about the importance of the Right To Life with local and regional media.
Jan 17th: Sanctity of Life Sunday
HopeCity Church asked TC4Life to invite other pro-life ministries to come to their church for recognition and to provide pro-life education for their congregation. Seven area ministries and two medical mobile units were able to attend. Ashley Bratcher, the star of "Unplanned" shared a personal video message for this service.
Feb 17th: 40 Days for Life Begins
TC4Life brings the national 40 Days for Life campaign to Greensboro again. 40 Days for Life provides an opportunity for all people of faith to join us on the "sidewalk" to pray for the unborn, our nation, and everyone who visits the abortion facility including the abortion workers.
Feb 25th: Care Center Connections Event
TC4Life hosted our first "Care Center Connections" event. Twelve of our area's care centers joined us as we invited them to get to know each other and begin working together more effectively. New connections were made and stories of care centers assisting each other were shared soon after this event.
Mar 16th: "Engage" Event
TC4Life hosted and event that we call "Engage." This evening we invited influential members of the black community to help us respond to the abortion crisis in the Triad. Special emphasis was the recognition that the black community is targeted by the abortion industry and black community leaders and pastors are mostly silent.
The Lt. Governor's wife, Yolanda Robinson and other community members were in attendance as we heard stories from post-abortive women and discussed solutions for reaching the black community in Greensboro and the surrounding area.
Mar 30th: Pro-life in Alamance County Meeting
After meeting with the staff at St. Mark's Church in Burlington, we were invited to co-host this meeting. Approximately 40 people joined us at SMC as we had an open discussion around reaching and meeting the needs of abortion minded women in neighboring Alamance County. Young Lives of Alamance, A Heart's Cry (PRC), Alamance County Right To Life, Connect4Faith, Cone Health's Congregation Nursing program, and several other ministries were represented.
May 8th: Volunteer Appreciation Event
TC4Life invited volunteers from across all local pro-life entities to this event. 75+ volunteers and their families met us at Triad Park for an encouraging message from Pastor Marco of Life Community Church and delicious "food truck" food, provided by HopeCity Church.
May 20th: Dinner at Lexi's Place
Roy and Kathy Morgan contacted TC4Life and offered to host a dinner and provide a meal at their home, nicknamed Lexi's Place, for over 60 guests! This dinner event was a success as we had the opportunity to spend time with our guests and share about the ministry, our current initiatives, and update them on two of our partners, Salem Pregnancy Care Center and A Room at the Inn.
TC4Life Medical Mobile Unit update
Save the Storks has recently let us know that production on the new Medical Mobile Unit has begun! They anticipate delivering this MMU in December of this year. Providing medical services at the abortion facility has led to many saved and transformed lives. Our current mobile partner PRC's are only able to provide partial coverage and one of our partners is planning to offer medical services to other PRC locations that are currently non-medical.
This new MMU is much needed and will drastically improve our outreach at the abortion facility and in the community.
Due to generous gifts, we have received 2/3rds of the cost of this MMU. We still need approximately 70,000 to bring this vital tool to the Triad and we will need additional or on-going gifts to fund the medical personnel. Please contact us if you would like to become a vital part of this mobile outreach! Here is a sneak preview of the new medical mobile unit:
